RUSSIAN BUSINESS VISA APPLICATION
PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW CAREFULLY AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS
A Russian Business visa is a permission in the form of an adhesive label printed and added to a traveler’s passport. It allows its holder to enter, stay, and leave Russia within a specified period. It contains the following information:
- The entry and exit dates,
- The number of visits allowed,
- Vital information,
- Passport details,
- Information of the party/company details that sends you the invitation.
Business visas are issued for persons who enter the Russian Federation for business purposes. Business visas can be a single or double entry for up to 90 days or multiple entries for up to one year.

– The fees include the Russian Embassy/Consulate visa fees and the Document and Visa Services fees.
*Multiple Business visa is allowed to stay on the territory of the Russian Federation no longer than 90 days within every 180 days.
RUSSIAN BUSINESS VISA REQUIREMENTS
- Business Invitation issued by Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD); or Telex issued by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia). If you don’t have one, please order one at info@dvservices.ca
- Please have Invitation or Telex information ready to complete the Visa Application Form. This form should be completed, saved, and submitted online here: https://visa.kdmid.ru and then printed out. Kindly ensure that the first page of your visa application form is signed and dated in the designated area. If an applicant is a minor, one of the parents must sign the application form. Unsigned visa application forms will not be accepted.
- If you have difficulties completing the Visa Application Form online, please email the complete the PDF form here and send it to info@dvservices.ca the additional charge of $50+tax, will be applied, including for verification and corrections.
- Valid passport. The current passport should be valid for a minimum of six months after the visa’s expiration date or exit date from Russia and has at least 2 blank visa pages which do not need to be consecutive.
- One color photograph that must be professionally taken within the last six months; must be color and taken against a white background with the face in focus about 75%; size: 35mm X 45 mm (1 3/8’’ X 1 3/4’’); non-smiling (without sunglasses and head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background); printed on photographic paper and date stamped.
- Guarantor letter from Russian Company on letterhead and Russian language contains a guarantee for transportation, sufficient funds for living, and medical insurance coverage. Stamped and signed.
- A medical insurance coverage of a minimum of 30,000 EUR for all European citizens. For All other countries (Canada, USA, and ext.) a medical travel insurance minimum of 90 days is a must.
- For multiple entries a valid HIV test is required.
- Non-Canadian and Non-US applicants must provide a copy of the document confirming their current resident status in Canada (PR Card, Landed Document, Work Permit).
- Former USSR or Russian Federation citizens who emigrated from the USSR or Russia before February 6, 1992, must provide a document confirming that they are no longer the citizens of the Russian Federation.
Please note:
- Embassy/Consulates of the Russian Federation in Canada reserve the right to request additional documents such as bank statements, accommodation reservations, transportation tickets, proofs of family ties, additional letters from hosts, etc., as well as invite an applicant for an interview or extend visa processing time. The Document and Visa Services is not involved in the process of assessment of visa applications and shall not be liable or responsible for any delay by the Embassy/Consulates of the Russian Federation in Canada in assessing, granting, or refusing any visa application. The Document and Visa Services does not issue visas and can not and does not guarantee a visa will be issued by the embassy/consulates of the Russian Federation, as this is the sole prerogative of the foreign government. Issuance of visa, processing timing, visa type, its validity term, number of entries, and other details are determined exclusively by the embassy/consulates of the Russian Federation on a case-by-case basis. Once the application file has been submitted to the embassy/consulates of the Russian Federation, no changes of any kind, including the trip dates and/or processing timing, are possible or allowed. Processing timings and requirements mentioned on Document and Visa Services web site is a general guideline only. Document and Visa Services does not bear liability for the safety or security of your passport/document once the passport has entered the embassy/consulates of the Russian Federation or other authority grounds or passed into the control of a courier company for delivery. Document and Visa Services is not liable for any stolen or lost passports, while out of our hands, and holds no liability for late delivery of passports and visas, Documents and Visa Services does not bear any financial, legal or other obligations whatsoever for client travel bookings or other purchases, down payments, or any kind of travel or other arrangements that were done before the issuance of visa that may be affected by processing times, visa details or denial of visa. Document and Visa Services does not bear any financial (or otherwise) responsibility for issues and losses arising from errors and improper issuance of visas by the embassy/consulates of the Russian Federation and does not compensate for travel expenses arising from any of the above. Even when the visa is issued, a traveler may be denied entry since, in each country, the local immigration officials make the final decision to grant entry.
